From The President
It is with great pride and pleasure that our Board of Directors welcomes you to the 201st
edition of the Williamstown Fair. The 201st edition completes a yearlong celebration of
events culminating in our 200th Anniversary Fair in 2012. As Canada’s Oldest Annual
Fair, we can assure you that our rural heritage and history are central to our decisions
and our success.
Providing a rural heritage fair for family, friends and visitors from afar to enjoy is a
continuous goal of the Board of Directors who volunteer themselves throughout the year
to meet this objective. As you enter the gates of of our historic fair there is a certain rural
romance that will capture your heart and keep you returning year after year, and for that
we are proud.
Our successful fair is the result of the great volunteers and community partnerships with
so many organizations throughout our area. We thank all who participate and work so
hard to ensure the Fair’s continued success.
