1 FEMALE, Junior Calf, born after March 1, 2012.
2 Intermediate Calf, born December 1, 2011 to February 29, 2012.
3 Senior Calf, born September 1, 2011 to November 30, 2011.
4 FEMALE, Junior Yearling, born March 1, 2011 to August 31, 2011.
5 FEMALE, Senior Yearling, born September 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011.
6 FEMALE, born September 1, 2009 to August 31, 2010 (2-year old), in milk, dry or not yet
calved for first time.
7 FEMALE, born September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2009 (3-year old), in milk or dry. If dry
must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
8 FEMALE, born September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2008 (4-year old, in milk or dry. If dry
must be within 8 weeks of calving.
9 FEMALE, born September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007 (5-year old), in milk or dry. If dry
must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
10 FEMALE, born prior to September 1, 2006 (mature cow), in milk or dry. If dry must be
within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
11 BEST UDDER - the judge shall designate the best three udders in Classes 5, 6, 7 and 8.
These designated exhibits shall compete for first, second and third best udders in the
show. Prize money to be paid on first, second and third placings only.
12 BREEDER’S HERD, group of three animals, the registration papers of which must show all three bred by, and a minimum of two owned by, the exhibitor. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the regular classes.
